Jammu, Mar 15: The much publicized sexual harassment case that rocked multinational company M/s Ultimate Flexi Pack Ltd. SIDCO Industrial Complex Bari Brahmana (Samba) on September 8, 2015, has ruined the career of an innocent employee of the company Sanjay Thusoo, Commercial Manager in U flex unit, as he has been sacked on a "filmsy reason."
Both the accused and the victim are working in the same company but Sanjay was shown door on the ground that he had had given the lift to the victim woman in his car.
Worthwhile to mention here that a FIR No.143/2015 dated September, 8, 2015 was lodged in P/S Bari Brahmana under Section 294/293, 354/509 RPC against the Senior Manager Tara Chand Saini on the basis of a complaint lodged by a woman employee on the charges of molesting her in the office chamber.
After lodging FIR police produced the challan against the accused senior manager on 2/11/2015 u/s 294,354 RPC and there was no mention of Thusoo in the FIR.
After being sacked by the company Sanjay Thusoo has filed a writ petition in the court of Munsif Additional Special Mobile Magistrate Samba.
"I have been made a scapegoat and am being penalized for no fault of mine. The incident has ruined my career. I was not even paid my salary and dues for the past six months," Sanjay said.
He said that after serving for so many years in the company, he was thrown out and left to fend for himself.
Speaking to Early Times, he said that he was not aware of the fact that what had happened with the woman employee and it was just by chance when she asked her for lift. |
