PG College Rajouri organizes seminar on "Geo-hazards & Disaster Management" 3/16/2016 12:25:55 AM RAJOURI, Mar 15 : Government Post Graduate College Rajouri today organized state level seminar on "Geo-hazards and Disaster Management" in the College premises. This was a collaborative initiative of Department of Earth Sciences of the College including Department of Geography and Geology and proved to be a grand success. The programme was witnessed by a galaxy of scholars from various institutions, students and faculty members of the host College and members of the civil society. The seminar was chaired by a renowned geologist, a scholar and researcher of international repute in sedimentology and seismology Prof GM Bhat presently serving as Rector in Bhaderwah Campus of the University of Jammu, whereas Prof Shabeer Hussain Shah Principal of the College presided over the function. Prof SK Pandita Director Disaster Management University of Jammu was the guest of honour.
