Jammu, Mar 15 : Ex- Central Paramilitary Forces Welfare Association (ECPFWA) today appealed union government to consider their demands. Association president SS Manhas said that the retired personnel, Veer Naris have been neglected and discriminated and compelled to live a beggar's life despite the slogan eradicating the poverty. Manhas further said that a delegation of retired persons will also approach and submit memorandum to the IG BSF Jammu being nodal officer for Jammu province. They appealed union government to consider the demands including one rank one pension to ex- servicemen at par granted to defence personnel, Separate pay band and pay commission as par our duties on the baisis of equal duties equal wages, instead of CCS rules which envisage eight hour duty at home without any risk to life, revision of pension of pre- 2006 retirees and widows pension at par with supreme court judgment, establishment of central paramilitary forces welfare board, CSD facilities, medical allowance , medical facilities and allotment of land for establishment of a central paramilitary forces colony for deserving retired personal. |
