Jammu, Mar 15 : The Residents of Ward no 57 Model Town Gangyal today staged a massive protest under the leadership of Gurdeep Singh Secretary District Congress Committee against the Jammu Municipal Corporation as the names of residents got deleted from the voter list. The names of residents of sector 1, 2 and 7 of ward no 57 were deleted and included in ward no 56. The residents demanded that a new voter list should be prepared and issued as per the voter wards.
Among others who participated in the protest included Parmjeet Singh Josh, Ajit Singh Mehta, Devinder Singh, Sham Sharma, Tarlok Singh and Balkrishen. |
