Jammu, Mar 15 : The Mysore University has invited Chairperson of State Accountability Commission Justice BA Khan (rtd CJ) to present honorary Doctorate in literature to renowned Industrialist and Philanthropist and Chairman of the Wipro Dr. Azim Prem ji in Mysore on March 22, 2016. The University is conferring the Doctorate on Dr. Prem Ji for contribution in rural education. He could not receive it in the university's last convocation earlier due to his heavy preoccupation.
The Mysore University, the oldest university in the country is celebrating its centenary and is holding a variety of programmes including a lecuture series in which eight noble laureates have delivered so far. While Dr. Azim Prem ji will deliver a lecturer on "Improving School Education in India", Justice Khan will speak on the University Autonomy-a myth of reality on this occasion. |
