BKS organizes musical programme | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 4: Bhartiya Kala Sangam organized musical programme at KL Saigal Hall, Cultural Academy, Jammu today in the memory of late Govind Kour, first women Sculptor of J&K State. According to press release, a large number of audiences and a galaxy of distinguished music lovers witnessed the musical event. On this occasion, Sujanya Sharma, Director Local Bodies, Jammu was Chief Guest whereas Babila Rakwal, Administrator, Associated Hospital Govt. Medical College, Jammu presided over the function Leela Jamwal, President Gorkha Nagar were the guests of honor. The programme was conceived and implemented by Ramesh Singh Chib, Director BKS. While welcoming the guests and audience, Rameh Singh Chib, Director Bhartiya Kala Sangam, gave details of various cultural activities undertaken by BKS, informed, adding that Bhartiya Kala Sangam was established in the year 1980 and enrolled variety of artists especially young talents to provide them the platform of BKS so that they are able to display their talent. He said that many more programmes are in the pipeline to be presented in the coming days. Sujanya Sharma, Chief Guest also addressed the audience and lauded the efforts of BKS to promote Dogra Culture and also for presenting a mesmerizing musical programme which kept the audience spell bound all along the function. Babila Rakwal also addressed the audience and expressed her thanks to the management of BKS to organize such a wonderful proramme. |
