| Awareness Lecture held | | | Early Times Report
Udhampur, Apr 4: The NSS Units of Govt. Degree College Udhampur in collaboration with Udhampur based NGO " Jiyo Aur Jeene Do" organized a series of awareness lectures on the topics "Role of moral values in life' 'Conservation of environment" and Drug addiction /abuse.
According to press release, Swantra Dev Kotwal (Dy. Chief Warden, Civil Defence Udhampur), and Tariq Shah (President, NGO " Jiyo Aur Jeene Do") & Surjit Badsali Hosh (Lecturer in Dogri) were the resource persons.
The resource persons spoke in detail on the importance of moral values in life. They advised the students that they must possess the ethical values in their life. Such values play an important role in making the life purposeful.
As for as environmental issues, they cautioned the students to keep the environment neat & clean also plant more and more trees for sustenance of life on the green planet.
The Principal of the College Prof. S.S Bhalwal also addressed the gathering and asked them to inherit the values of life from their elders. On this occasion besides Prof. Udhey Bhanu & Prof. Suresh Kr. Dogra, NSS Programme Officers, the other staff members were also present. |
