Protest staged against Municipal Committee 4/4/2016 11:38:13 PM Early Times Report Kathua, Apr 4: A large number of locals today staged a protest against Municipal Council Kathua (MC-K) for its failure to maintain/repair a street which was left dug out by Reliance Mobile Tower Company in W- 14 of Kathua four years ago and is still in bad shape till date. During protest, the protestors amid slogans against MC-Kathua and local MLA warned the authorities to face the dire consequences if their demand is not met at earliest. National Conference Youth leader and Provincial Secretary, Harpreet Singh Sethi who led the protestors while addressing the protest lambasted MC Kathua for its callous attitude towards the problems of people of area and further alleged that it is an offshoot of sheer negligence on the part of MC-K. He said, "Reliance Company has dug out the street to lay down cable for its 3G Service resulting the street in bad shape. He alleged despite being funds from the company for repairing the street, the MC- Kathua miserably has failed to repair the street while people have to face inconvenience for their no fault.
