NSS unit GDC organizes symposium on Swachh Bharat Abhiyan 4/7/2016 12:18:55 AM Early Times Report RAMBAN, Apr 6 : National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of Government Degree College (GDC) Ramban symposium on the topics "Swachh Bharat Abahiyan" followed by cleanliness drive at college premises, here today. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ramban Randeep Kumar was the chief guest while principal GDC Ramban Dr Yudhveer Singh presided over the function. Speaking on the occasion chief guest appreciated the students for participation on the topic and called upon them to inculcate the habit of cleanliness among themselves and encourage other members of their family, friends and locality. He stressed upon the cleanliness not only the surrounding but one should have a clean mind and heart. GDC Principal said the practice of open defecation, open dumping of garbage shall be discouraged at all level to minimize the risk of water and air born diseases. He also laid stress for maintaining tolerance and oneness.
