Abducted girl recovered, accused arrested 4/7/2016 12:20:09 AM Early Times Report Poonch, Apr 6 : Poonch police today claimed to have arrested an accused and recovered kidnapped girl from his possession here today. A case already stands registered in this regard. As per police reports, one Mohd Shafi s/o Mohd Iqbal of Uchhad Mendhar of Poonch district lodged a written report with local police stating therein that his sister namely Shazia Begum (name changed) has been kidnapped by one Mohd Safeer s/o Mohd Rafiq of Mendhar. Following written complaint the police registered a case under FIR No. 87/2015 u/s 363/109 RPC at PS Poonch and investigation were taken up. During the investigations the police party of Police Station Poonch led by HC Bashir Ahmed of PS Poonch, Jatinder Raina SHO P/S Poonch, DySP Hqrs. Mujeeb-Ur-Rehman, Addl SP Poonch Masroor Ahmed Mir under the overall supervision of SSP Poonch J S Johar Conducted raids at possible hide outs of accused. "On specific information, police team today recovered the abducted girl from Janipur locality besides arrest of accused, police spokesperson said.
