Randhawa takes on Ganga | BJP versus BJP | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 10: Press conference organised by BJP leader, Choudhary Vikram Randhawa, under the banner of Stone Crusher Owners Association (SCOA), is a reflection of growing discontent among party leaders against ineptness of party ministers in the coalition government. SCOA press conference was directly against Industries and Commerce Minister, Chander Parkash Ganga, who even after passing of nearly one week, has failed to revoke the SRO-105, which was issued during Governor's rule. This SRO has received strong reaction from people doing construction business but BJP leadership has, so far, failed to revoke this order. Although Vikram Randhawa is a prominent leader of BJP but his helplessness reflected when he condemned the dictatorial attitude of the bureaucrats who have issued SRO-105 and that too in the absence of the popular government in the State. Randhawa said that according to this SRO-105 a blanket ban is imposed on any sort of mining from anywhere which has brought the Stone Crusher industry to a standstill. "Not only Stone Crusher Industry, but, the entire associated businesses, particularly construction, have been affected, he added. Randhawa made a veiled attack on Minister for Industries and Commerce for his failure to the get the order revoked. He pointed out on the one hand the government luring entrepreneurs to come and invest in the State on the other it is adopting anti-industry policies. He urged upon the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Industries and Commerce to intervene and direct concerned authorities to immediate revoke this anti industry SRO. |
