To keep PDP in good humour BJP ignores death anniversary of DK Kotwal

Early Times Report

JAmmu, Apr 10: After becoming part of the government, the power hungry BJP leaders have shamelessly forgotten the leaders who had sacrificed their lives to make this party a vibrant force in the State of Jammu and Kashmir. Since the days of Praja Parishad, Jan Sangh and BJP, these leaders had worked day and night to strengthen this party to fight for the cause of nationalist forces in this border State.
One of such leader was late Daya Krishan Kotwal, who stood like a rock in Doda district when terrorism was at its peak in that mountainous belt. Daya Krishan Kotwal died on April 9, 2013 but the power hungry party leaders forgot himwithin three years of his death.
Saturday April 9 was death anniversary of late Daya Krishan Kotwal but no function was held at BJP office to observe death anniversary of a leader, who had played very important role in containing terrorism from Doda district and had stopped Hindu minority from migration. Unlike other leaders, late Kotwal himself stayed at Bhaderwah during terrorism to encourage minority community. But unfortunately BJP forgot that leader.
If credible sources in the party are to be believed, it was all due to directions of some senior leaders, who are ministers in the government, that death anniversary of late Kotwal was not observed because he was a Hindu leader.
Credible sources said that senior leaders of the party including those who have RSS background, had deliberately decided not to observe death anniversary of the leader, who was known as hardcore Hindu leader. They felt that observing death anniversary of Daya Krishan Kotwal will going to be annoyed PDP so they deliberately skipped the date to keep PDP in good humour.
