CM has set process of 'Good Governance' rolling: Hamid Choudhary | | | Jammu, Apr 10 : People's Democratic Party (PDP) leader and former member Jammu and Kashmir State Advisory Board for Gujjars and Bakerwals, Abdul Hamid Choudhary said that Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti has set the process of 'Good Governance' rolling by laying stress on fight against corruption, adopting e-governance and deciding to put waste management system in place besides ensuring good work environment for women employees and their empowerment'. He said in order to give people clean and modern cities, Chief Minister has laid emphasis on rehabilitating street vendors to clear all roads off bottlenecks and retrieving public spaces for better management of traffic system. Announcement of pilot solid waste management project for RS Pura in Jammu as well as in Kulgam besides expedition of work on Jehangir Chowk-Rambagh Flyover and garbage processing units for all districts are some of the key areas where government intends to set its priorities for the welfare of people. Choudhary Hamid said making public servants accountable is also on priority of the government for which Public Services Guarantee Act (PSGA) is being strengthened. Criticising opposition for having failed to come up to expectations of people, Choudhary Hamid said that PDP-BJP coalition is committed to carry forward Mufti Sayeed's agenda of peace and development. He said that there are several sectors which were ignored by previous government but time has come to deliver and develop all three regions of the state equitable. |
