Heavy rush of devotees in Chichi Mata Temple witnessed

SAMBA, Apr 15: Ram Navmi festival celebrated here with great religious fervor and gaiety. The nine day long Navratra festival celebrations concluded on Ram Navmi today with the immersion of Saakh and idols of Goddess Durga in the Basantar River Samba by devotees. On this occasion, a heavy rush was witnessed on Friday at Chichi Mata temple on Ram Navmi and thousands of devotees paid obeisance during conclusion of nine days Navratra festival. More than,23,000 devotees today visited Chich Mata Temple to have 'darshan' of the deity of Chichi Mata installed in the premises of the temple The Basantar River a festive look with hundreds of devotees including men, women and children waiting for their turn to immerse the idols and Saakh in the river.
However,there was also a heavy rush of the devotees in the Famous Kali Mata temple Situated at Bantlab Samba .Early in the morning today as hundreds of the devotees thronged Maha Kali temple to pay their obeisance.
