| Awareness camp on 'social security schemes' organized | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, May 9: An Awareness camp on Social Security Schemes was organized at Ward 32 Gole Panjpeer by social worker Sandeep Chib with Kuldeep Raj and supported by Assistant Labour Commissioner R.K. Vaid, Labour Officers Pawan Bhatti Roshan Lal beside others.
The main objective of the camp was to bring awareness among the labour class/subscribers regarding the Social Security Schemes.
Speaking on the occasion, Assistant Labour Commissioner informed that without awareness, the benefits of Government schemes could not reach the labour class. He appraised various efforts made by the department for redressing the grievances of the labourers and also informed that the grievance cells are in place at the Office complex of D.L.C Jammu and A.L.C. Jammu to dispel the doubts of the public and labourers.
Sandeep Chib stressed to hold such awareness camps in future also so that the benefits of Social Security Schemes could reach the beneficiaries. |
