Tehsildar conducts land demarcation of GCMS Ramban 5/23/2016 11:30:19 PM Tahir Mushtaq Early Times Report RAMBAN, May 23: The district administration has finally acted against the encroachment on the land of Government City Middle School (GCMS) Ramban which was delayed from the last long time following a report appeared in Early Times which had put detailed light on the this issue few days ago. Keeping int the view of gravity of matter, the Tehsildar Ramban Gurpreet Singh personally intervened the issue and visited the school alongwith his team including Naib Tehsildar and Patwari and demarcated the school land. Pertinent to mention here the portion of land belongs to school measuring 2 kanals and 1 marla under khasra number 463 is being illegally encroached by the people residing in the surrounding of the school. During his visit the Tehsildar Ramban immediately directed the concern officers to demarcate the land which belongs to the said government school. As per local reports around 4 marlas of the school land has been illegally occupied by the people, not only this they have made private path crossing inside the school to reach their houses, while having destroyed the boundary walls and making school vulnerable to anti social /criminal elements.
