NGEU continues two-hour long protest on 3rd day 6/24/2016 10:25:06 PM Early Times Report Jammu, June 24: The Non-Gazetted Employees Union, University of Jammu, Jammu (NGEU) continued their two hours long protest on third day against the University administration in front of the Old Administration Block regarding their long pending demands. President of Non-Gazetted Employees Union, University of Jammu, Jammu organized a rally under the leadership of its president Vijay Kumar. After taking a round of the University Campus, the rally was dispersed in front of the office of the Vice-Chancellor and Registrar. The Vice Chancellor had constituted a "Task Force Committee" to stop the protest of class 4th employees. A meeting of "Task Force Committee" and NGEU was held in the office chamber of the Registrar yesterday but the authorities did not take keen interest to resolve the long pending demands of the employees. The committee also threatened and given a written letter to the NGEU to stop the strike immediately otherwise the authorities take serious steps in this regard. President NGEU urged the Chancellor and Pro-Chancellor, University of Jammu for their intervention in the matter and give suitable instruction to the University authorities, so that a congenial atmosphere be created in University campus.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
