GRP grants in-situ promotions to 07 HCs, 30 Constables 6/24/2016 11:29:32 PM Early Times Report Jammu Jun 24: As a part of promotion policy and to encourage workmanship in cadre, Inspector General of Police (Railways J&K) Mohammad Sulaiman Salaria, IPS today ordered in-situ grade promotion to 7 head constables and 30 sergeant constables, who have completed 9 years of satisfactory services and were found eligible for their in-situ promotion. According to official spokesperson, the said promotions were earlier approved by the departmental promotion committee of railway police headquarters J&K in pursuance to police headquarters J&K order no. 250 of 2015 dated 29/01/2015 and in terms of the principle guidelines/ criteria enshrined in SRO- 14 of 1996 dated 15/01/1996 read with SRO 225 dated 04/07/1997.
