Teen kidnapped, raped; accused, associates held 7/5/2016 11:07:17 PM Mendhar, July 5: A teenage girl was kidnapped from Sakhi Maidan area of the town here today and raped at a house with the help of family members of accused the police sources said. Sources said one Mohd Arif son of Shakir Hussain Resident of Sagra at present Sakhi Maidan kidnapped a girl namely Shamima Akhter (17) of Sagra at present Sakhi Maidan Mendhar and took her to his home. She was raped there by the accused and in this gruesome act his sister Nusrat and another associate Mohd Shabir helped the accused, sources added. As the police received a piece of information about the crime, SDPO Shahid Naeem alongwith police party raided the house of accused and held all of them.
