| Elderly man found dead, unidentified succumbs in GMC&H | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 5: An elderly man was found dead under mysterious circumstances at Railway Station Jammu while an unidentified who was found unconscious in city area succumbed while undergoing treatment at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) Jammu. Police reports said, "An elderly man hailing from Chhattisgarh was found dead under mysterious circumstances at Platform no 1 Railway Station Jammu, Tuesday morning."
"The deceased has been identified as Chande Rekha (65) son of Sudhir Singh of Chhattisgarh, they said.
Police reports added that some passengers found a man lying unconscious at platform no.1 and informed the GRP police. "After getting the information, police reached the spot and shifted the man to GMC&H where he was declared as brought dead, police sources said.
Later, the body was moved to the mortuary of the hospital for autopsy and other legal formalities.
Police said that a case in this connection has been registered to ascertain reasons behind the death.
Meanwhile, an unidentified male aged around 40 years who was found unconscious under mysterious circumstances from city area succumbed today.
Police said that after getting information, the unidentified man was shifted to GMC&H where during treatment he failed to respond the treatment.
Police said that body of the deceased was shifted to the mortuary of the hospital for legal formalities. |
