Special summer classes turning to be a new attraction for students

Reasi, July 5: Target to provide a quality, trained and free classes which would help students in their board exams, the Government educational intuitions at Reasi have launched special summer classes. These classes are attracting a large numbers of students.
During his visit to the special classes organized for secondary students at Government Girls Higher Secondary (GGHS) Reasi, Deputy Commissioner Reasi-Ravinder Kumar stressed teachers to focus on pronunciation of students as well as focus on developing logical concepts in students.
Government schools would gain patronage if the strength of students was increased and teaching methods were improvised, DC said, adding that participation of over 500 students during these special summer classes is a welcome initiative.
Education Department officials should make surprise inspections of government schools to monitor attendance of teachers as well as students and gauge the teaching methods and prevailing academic standards, DC told education officials during his visit.
Officials and teachers should pay attention to mediocre students and organize special classes for them in order to ensure cent per cent results added DC. He further added that teachers should have knowledge and awareness of the lessons being taught.
In order to make students eligible for employment and competent, classes for the computer, carrier counseling and personality development should also be started, DC instructed Chief Education Officer. Adding that students should be taught skills and encouraged to discover personal qualities.
DC while interacting with the students exhorted them to work hard and called upon to take advantage of these classes. He said one should work diligently to achieve his/her aim. Sharing his personal experiences with the students DC told them that he would keep visiting them on a regular basis.
District Administration will give appreciation and acknowledgement of their efforts to all the teachers for their efforts in changing the educational landscape said DC.
Chief Education Officer-Reasi, ZEO Reasi, Principal GGHSS accompanied DC during his visit.
