poonch, July 11: Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Haveli Poonch, Shah Mohd Tantrey today distributed complete cricket kits to young teams with an aim to promote the spirit of sports among them.
The kits were handed over the teams from villages of Haveli constituency including Degwar, Bagaildara and Dalaan. Speaking to young cricketers and other village folk, the MLA asked the youth to actively take part in sports activities so as to remain physically healthy and mentally fit.
Prominent among those present were chairman of Shaheed Manjit Singh Volleyball Club Poonch, Mohd Tariq Khan and retired Tehsildar, Mohd Bashir Khaki as also Sarpanch of the village. |
