jammu, July 11: To promote the traditional culture of J&K and observe the "World Population Day" Bharatiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan performed Musical Play "Doli" here today at its office compound Durga Bhawan Disco Morh, Janipur on the theme of "Heath Education". The play was written and by M L Dogra, Former Assistant Director of Song and Drama Division, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India. The programme was inaugurated by V K Magotra, Former Regional Director, Directorate of Field Publicity, Government of India.
The programme was commenced with the songs "Badti Aabadi Roko" , "Chota Parivar Sukhi Parivar", "Dhiyan Gi Na Marro", "Mang Rahi Hai Beti Jag Mai Jine Ka Adhikar" and few more.
The chief guest lauded the main objective of the play to make general public aware to awake about utilization of family planning and importance of small family. The slogan for this year was "Zimme Dari Nibhao Plan Banao." |
