nagrota, July 11: A ten days Basic Leadership Camp (BLC) was held at NCC camping Ground Nagrota under Colonel Rajesh Kumar in which five hundred twelve (512) NCC girl & boy cadets from different schools and colleges of Jammu region are participating.
Various activities being conducted in camp are character building, developing leadership qualities, personality developing, communication skills, Swach Bharat Abhiyan & blood donation.
Cadets were imparted military training in drill, shooting and map reading etc. Symposiums, debates, cultural and sports activities are also being organized.
Col K B Gupta delivered lecture on SSB Capsule, Recruitment Process in Indian Army. Eminent team of guest lecturers (professors from Central University of Jammu) also delivered lectures on Natural Resource Degradation, Restoration of Ecological Balance by Dinesh Kumar, Disaster Management in Hilly Region like J&K by Dr Pankaj Mehta, Contribution of Youth in combat terrorism by TK Singh, Communication Skills and personality development by Dr Neelika Arora. |
