Early Times Report ramban, July 11: To impart first hand knowledge to the budding talent of district Ramban Nirvana Academy a cultural organized a 10 day long workshop in the field of dance, singing, theatre and painting under the name of Children Summer Activity Workshop (CSAW) in the premises of Government Higher Secondary School, here today. Vice president Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) Ramban Ashish Sharma was chief guest on the occasion and inaugurated the workshop by lightning the traditional lamp. The programme has being supported by Vishv Hindu Parishad (VHP), Department of Information and Public Relation, The Yug Bakers and Restaurant, Verma Ornaments, Hotel Ramban Regency. Nirvana Academy has started this similar type of workshop last year and this is second in the series. While speaking on the occasion, Ashish Sharma said that the workshop will help the children in overall personality development and also to explore their creativity. He expressed his gladness over the training which will prove beneficial for them in the years to come. Trainers from Jammu includes choreographers and artist Paramjeet Kour, Singer Chandani Kour besides theatre artist Pooja Devi will groom the selected participants of Ramban in the workshop. Earlier, the audition was also conducted in which judges selected the 90 participants who will undergo the 10 day workshop. In welcome address, Chief Organisor Nirvana Academy Ramban , Tahir Mushtaq congratulated the participants for getting a chance to learn Dance, Singing, Theatre skills and painting from the experts thus taking maximum benefit of their vacations. He informed about the basic idea of conducting such activities for the benefit of larger number of participants. He insisted on the importance of these activities for the overall development of children. He said that such workshops will help the participants to enhance the confidence, imagination and creativity amongst the children. |
