Jammu, July 12 : AarakshanVirodhi Party (AVP) condemned caste based reservation in government jobs and education. According to press release,Ram Pal Seth, President AVP condemned the continuation of caste based reservation and caste based special privileges ignoring the deprived, poor and needy of General category including Hindu, Muslim and Sikhs which is denial of fundamental right and principle of equality. He demanded that all types of reservation be abolished otherwise general category people shall forced to launch country wide agitation from street to parliament. Madan Lal Narad General Secretary of the party lambasted on central government for promoting casteism through caste based reservation as a vote bank politics , keeping in view the coming state assemble election. The slogan SAB KA SATH SABKA VIKAS has lost its lustre because N.D.A govt at Centre is working as a "B Team" of the congress party. Sat Pal Sharma Convener AVP said that in coming State Assemble elections BJP is very likely to lose its traditional votes as party has ignored its traditional workers and policies and programme. Sat Pal demanded that right of equality and justice be implemented in letter and spirit in the country and end the caste based discrimination. VK Sharma, Deepak Khajuria, Madan Lal Abrol, Yash Paul Sanson, Raj Kumar Banathia, Som Nath Sharma, Yash Pal Singh, Ashok Kumar, Deepak Gupta, Bhushan Pargal, Ravi Sawhney, Tara Singh and others also expressed their views.
