Coalition has failed to safeguard its subjects: Sasan | | | Early Times Report Jammu, July 12 National Conference has flayed BJP-PDP government for deteriorating law and order situation in the state. While addressing a deputation of various heads of J and K Sikh societies, NC provincial vice president Sasan said that coalition Govt. had totally failed to come-up to the expectations of the people and instead of focusing on development and welfare of the people it is dividing the people on communal and regional lines. He alleged that the directionless and visionless policies of the Govt have created chaos and confusion in ruling circle and as such the people are the worst sufferers feeling hapless and repenting on their decision. Sasan further said that coalition has totally failed to provide basic amenities including ration supply, drinking water and electricity to the people and has miserably failed to protect the lives and property of common masses and are just acting as mute spectators. Sasan castigated BJP for its vilification campaign against National Conference just to divert people's attention from its failures and said that it is NC which came forward in 1996 and formed the Govt. and restored peace in the state. He further reminded the BJP that all the major developmental projects were started and completed during NC regimes. He further said that NC had brought revolution in every field whether it is health, education, tourism, agriculture, power or industrial sectors. He said that people should come forward to strenghten the hands of Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah for peace and to keep the state intact, progressive and prosperous. The deputationists assured full support for NC. |
