Hawan performed 7/12/2016 10:58:11 PM Early Times Report Jammu, July 12: The annual hawan at Mata Ragheneya Peeth (Kheer Bhawani) Bhawani Nagar, Janipur Jammu was performed on the auspicious occasion of "Ashad Ashtami" today with great religious fervour and devotion. The hawan commenced on Monday the 11th of July at about 7 pm in the evening and continued uninterrupted throughout the night till Puran Ahuti was offered at around noon today. Devotees of the divine mother participated in the Hawan in large numbers and the chanting of mantras was continued throughout the night and also the singing of Bhajans and devotional songs charged the atmosphere with religious fervour. After Puran Ahuti, rice meal was served as Prashad to all the devotees who visited the shrine throughout the day.
