NGEU flay apathetic attitude of the JU | | | Early Times Report Jammu, July 12: The Non-Gazetted Employees Union University of Jammu (NGEU) continued their six hours token strike observing the apathetic attitude of the University authorities in front of the old administration block, regarding their long pending demands. The demand included removal of 2750 grade. The authority despite of assurance to remove the said grade, took no positive steps which is still lying pending, since long. Others included matter of disengagement of 8 employees from the Human Genetics Department, creation of post of different categories of class 4th, releasing the salary of helpers as per Kashmir University. The organizing secretary NGEU issued a circular saying that the Safaikaramcharis are requested to not to work before 9.30 amand after 10 am in the University. The President Vijay Kumar said our demands should be fulfilled soon otherwise the University Authorities should get ready to face agitation for which they will be held responsible. KN.
