NABARD organizes awareness programme 7/12/2016 11:07:51 PM Early Times Report jammu, July, 12: National Bank for Agricultural and Rural Development (NABARD) organized a Financial Literacy Awareness Programmes at Block Drabshalla in District Kishtwar. The programme was organized for general public to create awareness among them about various Financial Products. Dignitaries present on the occasion were Nikhil Sharma, DDM Kishtwar NABARD, Ashok Bhat Lead District Manager, S K Chauhan BM of JK Bank Drabshalla, Anjana Bhandari Faculty RSETI and Uttam Chand President NGO Shagun Youth Welfare Club. He discussed about the various schemes that are being implemented by NABARD for the benefits of villagers. He also talked about KCC and Bhoomi heen Kissan Yojana being launched wherein landless labourers and tenant farmers can also avail KCC by forming Joint Farmer Groups. He discussed in detail schemes for solar lightening and solar pumpset. He also motivated the participants to form SHG's and JLG's. Meanwhile, similar programme was organized in village Chinote, Bhaderwah on recently announced PM Fasal Bima Yojna,PM Krishi Sinchayee Yojna,Srat-up and Stand-up India, MUDRA & Social Security Schemes of G O I in Doda. In order to ensure the spread of Govt. of India's recently announced Pardhan Mantri Fasal Bima & Krishi Sinchayee Yojna, Start-up & Stand-up India, MUDRA and Social Security Schemes, NABARD a leader in Rural and Agriculture sector has embarked upon a noble mission of creating awareness among the rural people by spreading the awareness of these schemes & message of financial inclusion in every nook and corner of Doda - the most backward region of J&K- by holding Financial Literacy Awareness Programmes with the sole objective of targeting the financial excluded areas by involving in this endeavor bankers and the district administration including the Panchayati Raj Institutions.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
