JKLADCSA observes pen down strike, demands removal of pay anomalies | | | Early Times Report jammu, July, 12: In protest against the alleged 'lop-sided', 'non-serious' and 'dilly delaying' tactics of the state government with regard to removal of pay anomalies of the clerical cadre, the Jammu, Kashmir & Ladakh All Departments Clerical Staff Association (JKLADCSA) observed a complete pen down strike in government offices across all districts and tehsil headquarters. JKLADCSA lamented the government for not implementing the judgement of the High Court vide SWP No. 3058/2015, M.P. No. 01/2015 regarding removal of pay anomalies of the clerical cadre at an earliest. Earlier, in an emergency meeting held at Jammu after day long discussions with the members of Kashmir Division telephonically the pre-decided scheduled programme for Kashmir Chalo to gherao the Civil Secretariat has been delayed for the time being due to ongoing law and order problem in the state. A memorandum regarding removal of pay anomalies of the clerical cadre was submitted to the Divisional Commissioner Jammu through Babu Hussain Malik, state president of the Association including Bharat Bushan, Ashok Singh, Ansuya Gupta, Vikas Chander (District president, Jammu) and others. In the District Headquarters the memorandums were submitted to the concerned District Development Commissioners All the representatives in one voice appealed to the government to implement the judgement of High Court. Addressing the gathering, Babu Hussain Malik informed that the next phase of agitation shall be decided in due course of time as and when the law and order situation in the state restored to normal. He appealed to all the clerical cadre employees to come on a common platform to get their due rights and to take the struggle to its logical end. |
