Early Times Report Jammu, July 12: Crime Branch (CB) Jammu today registered a case against Saroop Singh, Bishamber Singh, Purab Singh, Suraj Singh, Naryan Singh all sons of Late Naseeb Singh Parveen Singh, Swarn Singh S/o Saroop Singh, Narotam Singh S/o Sh. Bishamber Singh and Rajinder Singh S/o Sh. Suraj Singh in fake PRC Scam. Official spokesperson of Crime Branch, Jammu stated following a written complaint lodged by Surat Singh of Village Gho Manhasan Tehsil and District Samba duly forwarded by JMIC Samba was received in Crime Branch, wherein the complainant had alleged that Nasib Singh father of the accused Saroop Singh, Bishamber Singh, Purab Singh, Suraj Singh, was the original inhabitant of Channi Gujran, Punjab and had owned property in the said village, however, all the accused persons in furtherance of a criminal conspiracy and connivance of the revenue officials managed fake and forged Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC) and thereafter succeed in purchasing landed property and securing government jobs in the state of J&K etc. During verification process initiated by Crime Branch, Jammu it was found that father of the accused Naseeb Singh was originally a resident of village Lagwal Tehsil Shakergarh now in Pakistan and had migrated during 1947 and was allotted land in village Channi Gujran Pathankot, Punjab. "After some time he migrated to village Dabuj Tehsil and District Samba and then to Ghou Manhasan where his sons namely Saroop Singh, Bishamber Singh, Purab Singh and Suraj Singh managed PRC certificates in connivance with the officers/officials of the Revenue department," he added. He added that it also came to fore that Parveen Singh S/o accused Saroop Singh also secured a job on the basis of fake PRC in the J&K Prison Deptt. and presently is working as a Jail warder. The omissions and commissions, therefore, on the part of accused sons of Late Naseeb Singh, Parveen Singh, Swarn Singh S/o Saroop Singh, Narotam Singh S/o Bishamber Singh and Rajinder Singh S/o Suraj Singh R/o Gho Manhasan Tehsil and District Samba, prima facie, constitute offences punishable u/s 420, 465, 467, 468, 471, 120-B RPC.
