SAMBA, July, 12: Unscheduled power cuts continue in Samba town and adjoining areas while the people of Samba town alleged that the present ruling PDP-BJP coalition government has failed to fulfill its promise to provide uninterrupted power supply to the people reeling under harsh conditions.
The situation in the Samba town and remote villages are facing a lot of problems due to unscheduled power cuts in night time that has made life miserable for the residents.
From past 10 days, major power breakdowns in night are being witnessed in Samba town, while the PDD department is silent.
The peaks summer months are more difficult and the cuts are increasing are day to day. During peaks summer days new born babies and oldage face a lot of problems due to unsechduled power cuts. We are paying electricity bills regularly but still have no power in our homes said, Kajal Devi, a local resident of Samba town. |
