Nat Manch stages Desh Di Qurbani

JAMMU, July 12: Nat manch today staged a Dogri play " Desh Di Qurbani " in its ongoing Tuesday series here at Shakti Nagar, Jammu.
The play was written by Ranjeet Singh and directed by Tarun Sharma. With the presentation of today's play, Nat manch has successfully staged 223 shows so far in its ongoing Tuesday series.
The play is based on the life of a boy who is distracted from his studies and choose different path to earn money i.e. (he indulge in smuggling of weapons). The father of the boy is a Retired Major and he has high expectations from his younger boy. The elder boy of Retired Major is also in Army. He wanted to see his younger child in army uniform. In the beginning, the child is focusing on his target (i.e. To be a Officer in Army) but slowly and slowly he came in contact with boys having criminal backgrounds and from them he learn to smuggle weapons.
While hearing all this, the father goes under depression and he immediately checked the school bag of his younger child and he was totally shocked to see bundle of rupees and lots of weapons inside it. The father slapped his son and blamed him that because of your these illegal activities, your elder brother is no more now. However, in the end, the child also feels guilty over himself that just because of earning little money I lost my elder brother today. The play gave a message to all the parents to keep eye on the activities of their children in their daily life so that these illegal works come to an end.
The actors who performed in the play, included Ranjeet Singh, Mohit Sharma, Rishav Salgotra , Nityam Sharma and Saksham Talwar.
