srinagar, July 12: The IAS probationers of the 2015-17 batches, who have been allotted to the J&K cadre, called on Chief Minister, Ms Mehbooba Mufti here today.
The probationers comprised Baseer-ul-Haq, Choudhary Mohammad Yasin and Sachin Kumar Vaishya.
The Chief Minister advised the IAS probationers to avail maximum benefit out of their ongoing training programme in the state so that they understand many of the intricate problems which are routinely faced by ordinary citizens, in particular those residing in remote and far-flung areas.
Asking the officers to maintain the highest standards of probity and integrity in delivery of their official duties, Mehbooba said their main motive should be to serve the people by delivering justice in a fair, transparent and hassle-free manner. She said the role of administrative officials was crucial in successful execution of government programmes and maintaining law and order.
