| "Mafia traders" conduct clandestine elections throwing Minister's orders to wind | | | Early Times Report
Poonch, July 13: A group of traders alleged that some "mafia traders" are going to conduct behind the curtain elections and are throwing Industries Minister's order into wind who out rightly directed the custodian Chakan Da Bagh for not conducting the elections till all issues are settled.
A prominent trader Mohd Amin Magrey said that, few days back, Industries Minister J&K Chander Parkash Ganga visited Poonch and a deputation of ignored traders met him and brought into his notice all the illegal practices of "Mafia Traders".
Magrey said that after listening to traders, the said Minister directed the Custodian Chakan Da Bagh not to conduct elections till further orders.
He said that custodian Chakan-Da-Bagh Mohd Tanveer is playing mischievous role and he seems to be hand in glove with "Mafia Traders" and he directed them to conduct secret elections.
When this correspondent contacted Custodian Chakan Da Bagh telephonically, Custodian said, "We will not conduct any elections but some traders are doing it at their own level". Magrey said that if elections are held behind the curtains, then there is no validity of the new body, if any, because the Minister has out rightly rejected the conducted of elections. He said that the said elections, if conducted behind the curtains, have no legal authority.
Magrey also demanded to Industry Minister Chander Parkash Ganga to blacklist all these Mafia Traders who are working against national interest with their repeated foul plays.
He also demanded to enquire the role of Custodian Chakan da Bagh who is reportedly playing the role in the favour of "Mafia Traders" even after fully knowing the fact that the same group of Mafia Traders" have implemented Pakistani roaster in Indian territory since long.
He also demanded strict action against "Mafia traders" for working against national interest. He also questioned the role of Custodian who fails to take action against the same Traders for implementing Pakistani roaster. |
