Early Times Report

Jammu, July 13: The Home Ministry has decided to conduct 'audit' of the madrasas in the Valley. The Ministry will ask all the intelligence agencies and state government to prepare a report on their activities and send it within a month to the Ministry.
"The violent unrest in the valley is also the result of the virulent and hardline teaching being preached in the thousands of the madrasas that have come up in the valley. They are being financed by the petro-dollor and are changing the narrative of the Kashmir to salafism and wahabsim.
It has fueled the extreme anti-India feelings in the Kashmir and it's a dangerous trend," said a senior official.
The home ministry has also received inputs that the preachers at the Madarasas are also being 'directed' by separatists and their handlers across the border to infuse wahabism in the valley.
"It's not all of sudden that lakhs of people came out at the funeral of a terrorist Burhan Wani. It shows how much the twisted teaching of Islam from pularism to extremism have been made and infused in the valley. It has happened in the Pakistan and this is what it has decided to do in the valley and it has succeeded to an extent," said the official.
The government has also decided to expose the manufactured narrative in the valley these were spontaneous protests and it's leader less agitation. Sources said the home ministry will soon present a report to the PM that how the protests were manufactured and then scaled up gradually in the last one year in the valley.
"The protests after killing of Burhan was a culmination of the protests being seen at the death of the terrorists for the last one year in the valley and how they people pelted stones during counter insurgency operations. The protestors were given directions on how to instigate people and then indulge in violent activities. There are also reports that people were also threatened when they resisted to come out. All these reports will also be feeded to the media to expose the real face of unrest in the valley," said the official.
