| Burn victim succumbs, another dies of poison | | |

Jammu, July 13: A burn victim undergoing treatment at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) Jammu succumbed today to her fatal injuries while another died of poison.
The deceased have been identified as Shimla Devi of Sanasar who died of burn injuries at GMC&H Jammu and Surjeet singh of Sunderwani who committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance.
Police sources said that the house wife Shimla Devi of Sanasar sustained burn injuries under mysterious circumstance at her residence and later was admitted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) Jammu for further treatment. "The injured during treatment today succumbed to her fatal burn injuries, police added.
Meanhile Surjeet Singh resident of Sunderwani today died at GMC&H Jammu during his treatment after he had consumed some poisonous substance at his home on the other day.
Police sources said that during treatment he succumbed to the fatality of poison he had consumed.
Meanwhile respective police have registered cases in the two above said cases and have started further investigations. |
