udhampur, July 16: Atleast 12 persons were injured when bus and truck collided at Dogra Morh Kud National Highway in Udhampur District. Police have registered a case in this regard.
According to police sources, a bus bearing registration number JK14D-2817 on its way from Jammu to Kashmir had a head on collision with a Truck bearing registration number JK02BQ-3299 at near Dogra Morh National Highway Kud resulting injuries to occupants of two vehicles.
Locals and Kud police acting swiftly launched a massive rescue operation and shifted injured to Sub District Hospital (SDH) Chenani.
"The injured have been identified as Hari Bhadur Sahi (24) s/o Dhan Raj of Nepal, Goray Sarvi (30) s/o Kul Ganj of Nepal, Jeevan Bhadur (19) s/o Dalnd Bhadur of Nepal, Durgha (21) s/o Man Singh of Nepal, Bus Driver Imran Khan (45) s/o Abdul Ajiz of Banihal, Davinder Gupta (25) s/o Golab Gupta of Gorkh Pur, Raju Chowan (27) of Gorkh Pur, Shotay Lal (25) s/o Jokhan Gupta of Gorkh Pur, Truck Driver Inder Pul (36) s/o Natr Singh of Punsh, Jay Dev (26) of Rajasthan, Manjeet Singh (26) of Ramban and Raj Kumar (27) of Shudmhadev, police sources said.
