BJP leaders accuse party ministers of pursuing Hurriyat's agenda | | | Early Times Report
jammu, July 16. In the core group meeting of the BJP, party ministers faced anger of the leaders for prevailing situation in the Kashmir Valley, especially attacks on the Amarnath pilgrims and Kashmiri Pandits (KPs) employees. Leaders warned that party would be wiped out in Jammu region due to misdeeds and misconducts of party ministers in the coalition government headed by PDP. Credible sources said that within minutes after starting of core group meeting party leaders started attack on BJP ministers for their failures to come up to the expectations of the people. Without caring seniority of the party ministers, some leaders said that it observed that some BJP ministers have taken "Supari" to finish party in J&K because instead of working for strengthening party in the State, party ministers are working as agents of PDP in the government. A senior leader, who does not want to be quoted, said that majority of the party leaders were of the view that all the ministers are pursuing Hurriyat and PDP agenda in the government by snubbing aspirations and wishes of the nationalist people in general and Jammu region in particular. BJP National Vice-President & J&K Prabhari Avinash Rai Khanna, national secretary Farooq Khan, Union MoS Dr. Jitendra Singh, Dy. CM Dr. Nirmal Singh, Members of Parliament Jugal Kishore Sharma and Shamsher Singh Manhas, Industries & Commerce Minister Chander Prakash Ganga, Health Minister Bali Bhagat, MLC Ashok Khajuria, State General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Kaul, State General Secretaries Dr. Narinder Singh, Pawan Khajuria and Harinder Gupta attended the meeting. Credible sources said that some leaders, while pointing towards controversial land and property bill which was approved by the Cabinet in the present of BJP ministers, said that intentionally or unintentionally BJP ministers in the government were following Hurriyat's agenda. |
