Locals protest against 'low voltage' 7/16/2016 11:00:40 PM Early Times Report udhampur, July 16: Complaining low voltage in their locality, the people from Kultyar Block of Pancheri took to roads today to protest at Kultyar to Udhampur road against Power Development Department (PDD) for supply of low voltage in this area and seeking early redressal. Locals alleged that there is just one low-capacity transformer which has to cater the needs of big locality resulting in low voltage, Raising slogans against Power Development Department (PDD), the protestors alleged that low voltage supplied to this village has incurred loss to them as many villagers have got their electricity gadgets damaged including TVs, Refrigerators and etc. they said that PDD is imposing heavy unscheduled power curtailments and low voltage due to which locals are facing many problems.
