Early Times Report jammu, July 16: As decided in the Prominent Citizens meeting held on July 14, a meeting was held in the Chamber House Rail Head Complex here today in which members condemned the meddling of Pakistan in Kashmir and warned it of its consequences and asked Civil Society of Kashmir to help in restoring the peace in valley. "The unrest in Kashmir has to be addressed internally where no outside interference is warranted' they underlined. The speakers also impressed upon the central and the state government to take all necessary measures to restore peace and calm in Kashmir Valley. Expressing serious concerns over the loss of human lives for the last over ten days, the speakers appealed to the state and central government to take effective measures so as to restore peace and tranquility in Kashmir Valley. The speakers said that there has been some incidents of stone pelting targeting transport vehicles from outside valley which should be stopped immediately. They also The urged all the stake holders in Kashmir Valley to stop such incidents and help in the smooth and peaceful Amarnath Yatra. "Uninterrupted and peaceful Amarnath Yatra would send positive signals from the Kashmir civil society throughout the country, they observed. The speakers declared their resolve to maintain communal harmony in the state at all costs and any attempt to disturb it shall be opposed with full force.
