KPs lament HM's nonchalance towards Pandits' plight | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 25: All State Kashmiri Pandits Conference SKPC has raised many questions about the meeting of Home Minister Rajnath Singh with only some groups in the valley and ignoring the actual inhabitants in KPs who have left their homes and hearth due to the trouble. Many apprehensions were felt and seriousness in settling back the Kashmiri Pandit in the valley which is evident by not meeting with the original inhabitants of the valley i.e internally displaced persons, Prime Minister's package employees and other state employees who were forced to leave the valley and are camping and demonstrating at Jammu. The executive body of ASKPC called the meeting under the chairmanship of advocate Ravinder Raina, president who question the Home Minister over KPs status . "Since we have suffered equally and ignored by the govt, it clearly shows that state govt as well as centre feels that KP`s blood is cheap. We were chopped into pieces, humiliated and subjected to torture. it is irony of KP`s fate that Home Minister didn`t bother to drop at Jammu to console and enquire about the circumstances of the employees leaving from the valley and who are protesting for last 14 days," he said. |
