Govt orders cancellation of attachment of employees in the Civil Secretariat 7/25/2016 11:51:50 PM Ishtiyaq Ahmad Early Times Report srinagar, July 25: In a significant development, the government Monday ordered cancellation of all the attachments in the civil secretariat and asked all the administrative secretaries to detach all the attached employees immediately. The government order reads " In terms of Government Order No. 975-GAD of 2008 dated 17-07-2008, read with Circular No. 41-GAD of 2008, dated 23-10-2008, it has clearly been impressed upon all the Administrative Secretaries and Heads of Departments to detach (CTN) all the attached employees and send them back to their respective Departments/organizations. The order said that the issue has been revisited in the General Administration Department on the demand raised by employees Union(s). It has been observed that the attachment of employees is still continuing in some Departments. Accordingly, it is once again impressed upon all the Administrative Secretaries to detach all the attached employees immediately and send them back to their parent organization in compliance of the Government order.
