Early Times Report ramban, Sept 8: Additional District Development Commissioner Ramban, Ravinder Nath Sadhu inaugurated one day "Road Safety" awareness cum Medical camp for drivers and conductors. The programme was organised by the Motor Vehicle Department (MVD) Ramban in collaboration with Health Department Ramban and different transport union at Bus Stand Ramban. CMO, Dr. Anwar Bhat, Dy. CMO, Dr. Iqbal, DIO, Rajinder Singh, Dy. SP Traffic Kameshwar Puri, Doctors and other officers and officials besides drivers, conductors and general public attended the function. Speaking on the occasion ADDC advised the participants to avoid over speeding, racing, drunken driving use of mobile phone while driving, wrong overtaking and underage driving to stop loss of precious human lives. He stressed upon the youth to bear helmet and seat belt while driving two wheeler or four wheeler to avoid fatal injuries. He also advised them to obey traffic rules in order to stop loss of lives in road accidents. Large number of drivers and conductors was examined by the Team of doctors and paramedical staff from District Hospital Ramban . During the check-up Doctors also advised drivers and conductors to take all necessary measures for enjoying safe driving and healthy life. While ARTO Ramban Shammi Kumar interacted with the Drivers during the interaction session He informed that maximum road accidents can be stopped by obeying the traffic rules. |
