Pvt Schools Asso resents alleged callous approach of ESIC authorities | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 8: A deputation of Private Schools of Distt Udhampur expressed their reassessment at the callous attitude of Employee's State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Department Shastri Nagar office. While briefing the members of association the aggrieved said that all Private falling in the Municipal limits have been depositing the contribution to the department for the medical welfare of their employees since 2011 but till date the concerned department has never shown any sort of sincerity towards the basic rights of the registered workers. "The sponsors of the Educational Institutions were very much agitated at the lethargic and negligent functioning of the ESIC department towards the welfare of workers, they said and added, "as biometric cards are to be issued by the ESIC department to registered workers which yet have not been issued to a large number of registered workers." They alleged the system was so disarrayed that those who have been issued such cards too are aggrieved at the reimbursement of their dues, They also mentioned that one of the officials on anonymity told that the private agency which was authorized for the making of biometric cards has left ESIC card assignment and till date no replacement has been made by the authorities. Ajay Gupta General Secretary of Pvt School association said when deputation went to the ESIC premises they found none as if it was a holiday. Among others who accompanied the deputation included Vishwa Mohan Sharma, Ram Parkash Sharma, Rakesh Gupta, Ankush , Sunil Verma etc. |
