KVK organies training for women 9/8/2016 11:51:46 PM Early Times Report Bishnah, Sept 8: Krishi Vigyan Kender (KVK) RS Pura SKUAST Jammu today organised one day awareness cum training programme for Rural Farm Women, here today. According to press release more than 50 rural women participated in the programme. The programme was coordinated by Dr Sheetal Badyal SMS Home Science under the overall supervision of Dr Tandon Senior Scientist and Head KVK,RS Pura. During the programme Dr Sheetal Badyal aprised the women about the value of the healthy food and how this is essential for the human beings. She focused how the mal-nutrition causes multiple problems and at times prove fatal to the human life. She gave in depth knowledge to the women about the major food components for a balanced and healthy diet. During her interaction,Dr Sheetal Badyal motivated the women and called upon them to ensure nutritional security of their respective families by maintaining kitchen gardens in urban and farm gardens in the rural areas.
