FOIJ interacts with Commissioner, Commercial Tax Department 9/13/2016 11:27:46 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 13: Federation of Industries Jammu today called on Commissioner Commercial Tax and apprised him about the problems, being faced by them. According to press release, a delegation of Federation of Industries Jammu, led by Lalit Mahajan Chairman interacted with Parvez Iqbal Khateeb Commissioner Commercial Tax Department and presented a memorandum in respect of various issues related to the Industrial Sector of state. Their demands include relief to Industrial Sector of J&K under GST Regime, provision of adequate Staff at Lakhanpur Check post for 24X7 Clearance of Industrial Goods of Industrial Sector, a dedicated Green Channel bay at Lakhanpur exclusively for Industry with single window clearance of goods by Toll Tax & Commercial Tax Department to minimize the delay in the clearance of Industrial Goods, to introduce Self Certification Mechanism for the Import of Spares by Medium & Large Scale Units.
