Haq inaugurates Panchayat garh, North Budhi 9/13/2016 11:28:23 PM Kathua, Sept 130: Minister for Rural Development, Panchayati Raj and Law and Justice, Abdul Haq Khan, on Sunday inaugurated Panchayat garh, constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 20 lakhs at Panchayat Budhi North, block Barnoti District Kathua. According to press release, MLA Kathua Rajiv Jasrotia, ACD Kathua Sunil Sharma, Executive Engineers, BDO, Sarpanch Angraz Singh, Panchs and prominent citizens of the areas were also present in the occasion. Addressing the gathering the minister said coalition government is fully aware of the problems of rural hamlets and measures are underway to overcome the same so that the people get requisite facilities at their doorstep. He said that instructions had been issued to the officers to ensure that all development works were completed within stipulated time frame so that the benefit provided by the government to reach targeted population. He assured that the government is committed for the welfare and prosperity of the people by involving them in every sphere of development process. The Minister said that government is working hard to bring RD department to the forefront by working in an open, transparent and corruption free manner.
