Despite HC's direction for contractual lecturers, CEO Kathua replaces petitioners 10/1/2016 11:04:13 PM Early Times Report Kathua, Oct 1: Despite of High Court's direction under SWP no. 942/2012 & CMP no. 1442/2012 dated 24.04.2012 in the case of Vinod Kumar adjusted on academic need basis at government Higher secondary School Dhar Mahanpur, Reva Kumari at GHSS Basohli and Sanita Sambyal at Ramkot GHSS Versus State/School Education Department, Chief Education Officer CEO Kathua replaced all these petitioners and adjusted another contractual lecturers in their place of posting. Theses petitioners have been working with the department for more than 15 years and appealed High Court J&K for regularization and other claims. The court under SWP No 942/2012 dated 24thof April 2012 and directed DSE Jammu not to disturb these petitioners from their place of posting till further orders from the court. The case is still pending with the court. In compliance of High Court, Directorate School Education Jammu vide orders no. DSEJ/legal 6238-40 dated 05-06-2012 & DSEJ/legal/11022-25 dated 25-01-2014 directed CEO Kathua to implement and follow Court's direction. Even similar direction was given to CEO Udhampur for its petitioners , he followed the direction and not disturbed petitioners but CEO Kathua refused the Court's direction and replaced the petitioners which is non-compliance of both High Court and DSE Jammu. The petitioners sought verification in the matter and demanded continuation of their service as per Court's direction. Vinod Kumar, a petitioner alleged on CEO Kathua to have misconducted and voluntarily violated Court's direction. He said that they gave their crucial period to the department and now their services could not be terminated when most of the petitioners got overage.
